The group took part in the contest for the first time over the weekend of 12/13th May 2012.
Operating from the QTH of M0TAY we had some teething problems with a new radio that we’d not really used before, but after a slow start we managed 179 QSOs in the end with 100W from an Icom IC-9100 and an end fed wire coupled with an SGC tuner.
As it happens Win-Test doesn’t natively support this contest so the log had to be massaged a fair bit before submitting, and of course the score hasn’t been calculated yet, so we await the results eagerly.
