In March 2013 the group entered its first major contest and secured a first place in England as a result. We entered the Multi-Single category which was all band and high power. We had an ELecraft K3, driving an Expert 1k-FA to 400W. Antennas were a Jaybeam TB3 at 35 feet, a Cushcraft MA4080 and a 160m dipole.
We had 2035 QSOs allowed, which gave us 3,078,076 points, almost 3 times the score of the 2nd place. We were 28th in Europe and 54th in the World!
The operators were: 2E0SQL, M0PCB, M0GEJ, M0SPF, M0IRD and G0HVQ.
